Clue - They are in the mid left side of the picture This one lay very tight, even though the flames were licking all around about him. Wish I had a dog with me today! Quote Link to post
Guest SJM
Aye we took the argo most of the way up but we did burn one side of the hill and then we walked to the top and burnt the top downwards into the valley when the wind changed, but when your beating the fire out, you dont notice the ground your covering cos you get that engrossed in what your doing the time flies by Quote Link to post

Malt 379
You didn't have to pay for polish workers to burn that lot. You should have sent down to us, for some of the little p*cks that do that to the hillsides in south wales for fun. We'd gladly send some up. Quote Link to post

gaz 284
I seen the same thing in North Wales today, why does the heather get burned? Its being burned to regenerate the heather allowing young new shoots to sprout which the grouse then feed on Quote Link to post
