right,after much deliberation..................i have decided to look on here for a bit of help and knowledge my black bitch is gettin ready to come in to season,she has had 2 working seasons under her belt and 2 show seasons and this will be her 2nd female season,now iam looking to breed her not for money gain,just solely for me to keep a pup,she is 22 inch tall and a pure black rough coat,shes got some of the best hard bred whippet in the country,willhay and country music,but she is a pure working dog and comes from working parents,her main points are speed shes very fast stamina is as good as you get for this cross which she is 55%gh30%whippet15%collie her drive is great she is a good to excellant rabbit dog,she will do fox doubled up only,and retreave are flush roe,now i want to put into her a little more stamina,a bit more hardness dont really want to loose no speed and i wan tmy dogs not to be heavy,now also i want the pups to be no more then 23 inch,like i said iam not doing this for money its for me,and if anyone has any dog that they wouldnt mind studding to her and fits the bill please pm me of coarse they can have pick of the litter of DOGS bitches is mine,and of coarse i know other dogs but none that fit the bill as i would also want to see the dad work,mark

hope you find a dog mate i have a right fast colliex hound game out killes all quarry on his own i reckon il be doin the same as you some time soon and lookin for a good bitch so i can get a pup from him .Hope you find what tour lookin for

cheers mate,she is 10 months old here, won some of the best prestigous similutad in the country,never lost a puppy race,dogs up to 12 month old,won loads of supreme champions and endless racing events,not bad for a working collie x bred for the rabbitin game i took the racing dogs apart down here with her and they didnt like it mark but no more shows with these dogs now

yea i know she does but 15% collie promise this one below is the bedlington cross and when she comes in this yr hopefully soon shes bein bred to,there all havin 1 litter and its this yr and thats it,mark

I am sure you will find a suitable dog mark super dogs are hard to come by, does she not carry the Merle border collie gene like her sister, that you moved on? so merle collie x's will be out of the running

What about a good bedxgrey possibly a second cross.....this could suit your needs fella,should keep the pups to size you need and a dash of beddie will put in a bit of fire into the pups...just a thought,but good luck on finding the right stud for her

if i were you mark i would keep it along simmilar lines, eg 3/4 running 1/4 colie type. the running dog side i would use whipp/grey type..

 

 

theres just one question. you got rid of a perfectly good little dog, stating you didn't get them all out enough.

 

but your now going to breed from both and keep a pup from each

Saying no sly comments is like putting up a sign saying PLEASE DONT READ THIS SIGN I think you are bound to get some, especially when you are banging on about show seasons? what drugs are you on? shows mean absolutely diddly squat when it comes to working lurchers, I would have thought you would have realised that by now - you must like making a rod for your own back or something I would also say that you must surely have an idea of what your bitch lacks and where you want to improve, what you want to put over her, and possibly even a dog in mind, I reckon this topic, like 99% of the rest you post is merely attention seeking drivel

scent how good is that dog of yours and how is he bred and what size etc does he take rrhf work with ferrets lamp etc im looking for a good dog but must be pacy ive got one in mind but well if i see something specail well , i would give them the pic of litter , 24 to 26 no bigger no smaller, ive looked for year for freplacing my bitch all the best

show season,i did 2 yrs of this in a lot of yrs with lurchers,see its the same numptys saying the same thing whats wrong if a bloke are women wants to race there dogs and other things in the summer months i enjoyed it and would wish anyone the best of luck in doing so,you cant dispute these wee dogs are working dogs as well,anyway like i said no sly comments,thanks for all the pms

told you why i got rid of it,it wasnt for money as i could of got a lot more and if you are edging at somthing come out and sayit as again hedges is on here and will definatly put you in the picture,and i stated i seemed to leave her in the kennel and take the other 2 out more and it could of been a mistake,mark
