2 Jills Arriving Tomorrow - Question...

Recommended Posts

I have 2 Jills arriving tomorrow. Not sure if they are in season yet, doubt it. Brian goes in for the Knot on Friday.

My question is..... Should I keep Brian in the big hutch on his own? Should I give the 2 girls the hutch and Brian in the little one or vis-versa

Or should Brian go in the small hutch and not be introduced to the girls until the vet says he can.

I hope that makes sense.

If the hob is yet to be vasectomised & you DONT want a litter from the new jills then keep the hob seperate . even when he has been vasectomised allows at least 6 to 8 weeks before putting him anywhere near the jills as he could still be able to impregnate them hope this helps :)

all animals are Inividuals mate, you need to keep and eye on yours, and see how they react, someone could have hob and jills that live together without a hitch, you do the same, and have world war two on your hands,

once your hob is snipped and as kay suggests, a couple of months down the line, introduce them, if your jills are in season, he'll bring them out of it,

then sit back and watch, only you can see how they are doing with each other

many years ago, I took the advice that ALL jills and hobs would live fine together, so Intrduced a hob to my 3 jill court, they are him :wallbash:
