Anyone looking for a working terrier should get one out of working stock.

Anyone looking for a pet/show dog should get another breed, there are pleanty of breeds fcked up by breeding for show.

 

There will be some show dogs that will work (about0.001%, and chasing rabbits is NOT what they were bred for). All the same is for working strain, not all of them will work, but if you breed from the best workers you hope the pups should turn out ok.

If you breed from shit, why would you expect the pups to be any different.

 

To say that my show terrier is very game because he chases rabbits doesnt mean feck all, there will obviously still be the terrier nature in them. Show it an occupied earth, what it was bred for, and see if its up to scratch and dont be dissapointed.

 

Dont even know why i am replying to this post, common sense indicates that this is the most logical conclusion.

This is why i think it is imperitive people breeding off working terriers should ensure their breeding is going to true working homes. If you have any respect for yourself and the breed in general.

Let them breed off the show shite they have already.
