Another fine,dry weekend in the N/E so got meself upto Weardale with the poleys.Decided to do the top quarry on the way there seen plenty of rabbits up top bucks chasing does got to the 2 small sets i wanted to start at sheep everywhere looking at me for food or thinking what is he upto soon as i started to net up they did a runner,gave it 15mins nobody at home in both sets .Moved down to the bottom of the quarry & netted up a 6 holer freshly scraped out,looked good for business however another blank .I walked round to a 15 plus holer netted that up seen a rabbit go into 7 holer in the corner of the quarry so i went across netted that got 1 out each set .Took a artistic photo of the quarry wall with icicles.Noticed a couple of rabbits enter a burrow on the far side of the quarry so got meself over ther & netted up some 20 holes but well spread out gave it 20 mins put the 2 poleys in nothing for 20 mins then both ferts came out matted up with fur & mud by now it was 2:30pm so decided to call it a day.I will be getting the jills speyed in the next week or so,plenty of rnr for them both .Going to check my zero on the AAs410c & give out a few lead earings out this summer roll on next season
