hutch sharing

i currently own 2 hobs and im in the middle of building a ferret court its going to be 6" wide 6"long and 6"high will it be possible to keep them together? or will they fight?

6 inch square??i think you mean 6'!! as fir the hob thing,i think most of the year they're ok but can get a bit iffy in the breding season. i only keep jills now so somebody else might have a more definate answer for you...

if they were housed in differnt cages i wouldnt chance it, especially if there in season , but if you think they are ok to try you may be lucky, just observe them & take it from there

I have 4 hobs (5 jills) all in a 6'x6' court with 6'x4' outside run,

the hobs are a father, 2 sons and an outcross, and so far, so good, I do have extra large breeding hutches, should the need to split them up arise, but I think, they will have there places (dominance) within the court,

it all depends all the years ive had ferrets there is only 1 time i could keep full hobs together or there was fights,just keep an eye on them,best of luck

i`ve got a 8 by8ft court with 5 jill and 2 hobs in they soon sort out between them whoes boss but i take them out about now before the jills come in season to save any real fights
