Just to add that that amount of digging is well within a mans stride .Years ago i had a rough pat and a new farm to clear and between myself and the White Warrior [now left site i believe ]we cleared 45 head of vermin in 3 months with the one dog .Night digging as well as daytime and several quarry backed up but we did it fair and square .The bitch wasnt overly hard but had hold every time we broke through .So 90 digs a dog is well believable for me .Some of you wont dig that in 5 seasons but dont be short sighted in thinking that you are doing well .Lads out there do nothing else but dig .

Edited to add that if a man thinks he can tell what a terriers like by looking at it ,then hes a fool in my eyes cos it means nowt .

Don't judge a book by its cover I don't know these dogs but what if they started hard then with all the work that there owner provided they had to ease of a bit A hard dog can pick up alot of scares in his early digs and they last a lifetime weather he steadies up or not

Of course you can tell a dogs work style by looking at it If he s hard ,which they obviousely are,then 90 digs a season is a bit hard to believe,there would be no doubting if the dogs wheren t stripped,but i doubt if them dogs are out and out sounders and even if your digging all the year round mixers need between a weekor 5 of between digs.My dog was maxed out at 10digs this season and even at that she was worked when she shouldn t have been at times

pip mate those dogs dont look stripped to me!!they seen alot of work by the look of them tho, 90 digs each does seem like an awfull lot,but if hes digging all year round and a few times a week i suppose it could happen. we have had 116 this year but that is shared between about 10 or 11 dogs,and we are weekend diggers.

remember lads its ninty hard digs he said he's not counting the easy ones and its each dog and they were to ground for two day's on some of the digs.
