Guest craftycarper
I see that the powers to be are talking about cutting off internet access to people downloading and infringing copyright laws, my boy is constantly doing this when i am at work, will it happen or are there any cases of this being done already here or abroad i wonder? AIRGUNNER 1
I have also just seen this report on the news and personally i cant see it happening if so just think of all the internet suppliers like aol, tiscali etc they woulkd be losing a hell of alot of money. Im not sure on this subject but surely a proxy or something should be able to block it out then again like i said im not sure.
speedlamper 0
it will only affect people downloading mass amounts, i know people downloading between 5-7gig a day, the odd movie now and then isnt going to make much differance, they cant check every kb from every file a customer downloads, it really depends on where you download from, how you do it plus what safeguards your using
Guest world.hunters
i highly doubt that they would be able to police these laws, as it may not be the suscriber that is downloading the contect if they have a unsecure wireless network it could be the housenext door. i sometimes find upto 5 different internet conection at one time.
