cwn annwfn 0
Hi, Some of you might find our idea very very strange but we will visit Crufts in March. We own Russell Terrier and we will show our working champ Obi there Unfortunately he is not in KC show conditon as we had some normal conflicts with badger (legal in Austria) and fox this year so we will see how they will judge a working terrier As we reduce a show to something where we meet others and learn something new this won't be a problem for us no mather how they judge. My posting is about: Is any working terrier owner there just to meet? Or is there anyone with a working russell kennel in the area around birmingham to visit? Would be great to meet working russell terrier and their terriermen! Anyone out there huting from 6th til 12th of March digging or ratting (what we never did before but would love to see) where we see something new? Pls don't blame me for visiting Crufts, this is something extraordinary for someone from Austria that I would like to see before judging anyone else. Attached a pic from our last badger (that is responsible for not winning at crufts ) Once more: badger hunting is legal AND highly necessary in Austria and the badger was already shot on this pic CU at Crufts (or at least near to) Quote Link to post

Mars 42
Good luck at crufts mate, I`me sure in the breed standard for the Parson Russell it says "Honurable scars are allowed" and if the judge is {as they should} judgeing to the breed standard then a few scars should`nt be a problem. Yis Mars. Quote Link to post

cwn annwfn 0
For those interested in, this is what we will see at Crufts for Parson Russell Terrier: 54 dogs, 68 bitches = 122 total Do you have any hints and tips for us around Birmingham? Shop for hunting equipment or at least a good pub? Still we would love to hear from anyone in that area about a ratting opportunity or any kennel to visit. @donnyc: if we are really allowed to visit your kennel pls send me a pm, would be highly interested to see your dogs! cwn annwfn 0
Hi Mato, depends on the weather and nature. You have to tell us when we can come - depends on you cause of fox and hair. Whenever you say we will come Young dogs need training Affi is a daughter of Obi and she is excellent in size. Today she has only 29.5 cm = 11.6 inch and she is already almost 7 month, so I don't expect much more which will bring us a lot of fun underground I hope she will work so she might become a perfect support for Nova (7 years and lost already a lot of teeth) A pic is attached - whenever you have a chance for digging we will come. Any news from your dogs? Any pics of your Bedlington duo? Quote Link to post
matulkoh 66
as soon as y can, i need to discuss the training days,/ i need to plan it/ i let y know when when we can go to dig to Jelka, Akela is out of bussines for a moment after yesterday dig in Bahon, but he showed he s extra class dog.
