slip 1 Posted February 11, 2008 Report Share Posted February 11, 2008 im considering getting into falconry i have read two books THE HARRIS HAWK by lee williams and TRAINING BIRDS OF PREY by parry jones and i have to say they have a lot to say two very good reads i feel it wouldnt be fair to take on a bird with no experince so i am looking into a course in falconry but cant find a tutor does anybody no of falconry school in ireland and what type of bird would suit a beginner Quote Link to post

zinzari 0 Posted February 11, 2008 Report Share Posted February 11, 2008 well rom waterfordmate, there are afew schools around. one in laois ,and in wicklow.i see your from waterford. so am i just in falconry over a year . best bird to start with eiyher a harris or redtail good luck.
