Couple of weekends ago opposite my gaff we noticed police everywhere and a police helicopter doing its rounds over the land it went on for a few hours I said to her indoors they gotta be looking for a missing person or kid with that amount of response or possibly found some one dead on the land couple of days past an my misses gets on to the local fb group and sees all the police cars /helicopter was all for a dog reported killing a deer I said see the worlds gone mad love all that for a report of a dog killing a deer you can see why I called the hunting crack a day.beginning of the week her indoors said you know all that police over the field couple of weeks back I said yeah they released on the group that someone was apprehended and released without charge it turned out to be Jo publics dog had got hold of a deer my guess was probably a manjac on a fence line up near the bramble patch. I just can’t get my head round all the police presence and the bloody helicopter for a fecking deer worlds gone nuts

I hope the individual was charged the same as anyone else!

What a waste of resources.

They wasn’t mate no charges was bought against the person my guess is it was a pet dog walker and the police thought they were looking for someone actively out hunting that they wanted to try making a point about so they could put it on blast that they had court hunting folk illegally hunting

The pigs would be better doing something useful with themselves  must not of been any other serious  crime going on its a joke they'd be better picking litter  up off  the street  and clean it up was watching a programme last week an 8 0 year old got her  house broke into  waited 2 days for a response said they just didn't have the staff then you hear stuff like this and they wonder why no one could be arsed with them all this for a deer

Said no charges were bought against them apparently. We had a pair of xl bully’s kill someone’s pet dog as well recently on the outskirts of the old town I’m from the man and woman with the bully’s just walked off like nothing happened they were appealing for the owners to come forward or any one with ring doorbells forage but think someone let the po po know who they were as we see a woman is being prosecuted and dogs taken off her bit of a shame because the dog they killed was a nice looking little thing

Seen a few things on social media about south Yorkshire Police shooting a couple of bully type dogs that had escaped out of the owners garden and apparently they were running about round some horses and were shot though not near the horses at the time. Then another story in Sheffield were the police shot at another xl bully but must have missed has they are on the look out for it warning the public.
