Why didn't the go to the old bill when it happened?I don't think they even went to the old bill for this to come out.Weren't it a C4 journalist who just by chance was contacted by these different women?Everyone knew what his reputation was back then,He hardly hiding.They willingly got themselves into situations with a self confessed serial shagger and now 20years or whatever it is later are after a tidy payday

Where has anyone said he’s guilty?  Most have said if he is he deserves what’s coming, or why have the ladies involved waited until now.

A fair point but maybe the key word is ‘understandable’. Like I said, I don’t understand why someone who’d been raped wouldn’t go straight to the law and demand justice.., yet it happens. Al Fayed might have dozens of victims, there was a Chinese student recently may also have dozens. They can’t all be gold digging surely, so why don’t they come forward sooner?

I also think it’s difficult for men to comprehend the effect rape has on a woman. They are wired different to us, and much more sensitive and delicate in their make up. My sister in law worked in a rape centre and some of the stuff she told me about the ordeals some of these poor women went through, and the lasting effect it has on almost every aspect of life, is truly horrendous. Life destroying PTSD stuff.

All young men are 'serial shaggers'. Young men look for sex, women tend to look for relationships.

The culture was different back in the day. The police would routinely dismiss rape allegations. It was a case of the complainant's word against his. The same went for any  allegations against the police abusing their police powers and giving you a hiding.  Teachers and the like were virtually untouchable when they abused children , especially in religious schools. It wasn't even  considered a serious crime. The churches conspire to cover it up to this day.

As far a rape is concerned, the culture has changed and now there's an emphasis on securing a conviction because 'it was decided' not enough men are being found guilty of rape. This situation is equally unfair,because the police  feel pressured to increase the numbers of men being prosecuted. The police are capable of bending rules to satisfy targets. So  innocent men are more likely to end up in  court. 

It's a minefield. But not for me, I'll stick to alcohol abuse only.

I think cops suspect him of 50 as they have media of him raping unconscious ladies.Reminds me of the Indonesian student who was found guilty of 130+ male rapes in Manchester,police recon he could really be guilty of 200+ male rapes.
