Can't get on with the LED lamps...light force 140 or 170 striker and a 22 amp lithium for me...👍

Take a led lamp out next to a halogen lamp the halogen wins hands down them led lights are to bright I can’t see feck all and the dogs struggle in that led light to …. I started a pup on a led lamp ut

I don't get on with led either. Spot stuff in thermal and I genuinely struggle to see it with led lamp. My mate swears by them though.

I'm colourblind can't see anything in a red filter, I wear glasses these days but always had 20/20 could see eyes a mile away but couldn't make out what it was with red 30 yards aay

Just a few week back me and my work colleague were testing this stuff out...and I was using a light force blitz 240 halogen...

Thermal on ....rabbits everywhere...lamp on...some at 50.. 100 yards out vanished...

Don't get me wrong I've killed game with all sorts of lamps ..got a couple of led lamps  myself...even a short while ago had a few rabbits with a £10 led torch that had a 20 yard beam...

The ground can make a difference as well...and of course the volume of game...I know young Rew and his cousin took 150 rabbits one night with two dogs and two PLR 500 led lamps...so it can be done...but the ground and conditions make a difference

But be under no illusion there not out performing a good halogen though

I'm not saying they are as good as halogen, I'm saying you can still see gear with them and there ease of use is a big plus, anyway, once you slip a dog once it's on its quarry I doubt it's locked on to the eye reflection, they don't lose gear when the quarries eyes aren't reflected, but yeah, I can imagine at a good distance you might not spot something's eye like you could a halogen, for me though, ease of use and charging capability would matter a lot.
