Nice animal him mate....I remember 20 years ago when I had Sally the whip/grey deer/grey...she was one of the fastest lurchers I'd ever seen....

I ran her against splodge doubled up...100 yard slip....and it was a straight race till the first bend....and Sally was only ahead by about half her body...he was a quick dog...

I know lads always say salukies are slow ...but there not really

Yes,. .Anastasia produced a better class of Deerhound for the original job, and some, were even passable at organised hare coursing,.. (although it was never their proper vocation).. Back in the

Didn't one or two of them soldiers stay out 30 year or something....like one of mchull dogs reeling a hare in...lol

I was the judge and gave it “Champion Lurcher” , based solely on looks, condition, conformation and temperament. Its impossible to judge on working ability unless you have personally seen the dog

Muscle weighs more than fat mate, if you actually worked the dog to put some muscle on him you might just get it 😆 🤣 😂

Was that the one you clocked at a cattle auction or somewhere similar tomo and took a chance on, did it take much schooling or was you just really lucky to get a decent dog that day

The mrs just asked is that Cabron in the photo

Without knowing the stats I’d say Bron is taller. He’s around 25-26 ats, maybe a bit more. I’ll measure him when I get home. It’s been years since I measured his height and I can’t remember what it was.

Yes that's the one...she was 2 when I bought her and already running....although the guy that sold her said he was big in to the coursing game and she wasn't up to scratch...

Which if I'm honest she probably wasn't...in as much as she didn't have more than 3 minutes in the tank....but to me she was cracking animal

Your presenting the bait wrong … trot it downstream and hold back at the end … entice a bite …
