Yes,. .Anastasia produced a better class of Deerhound for the original job, and some, were even passable at organised hare coursing,.. (although it was never their proper vocation).. Back in the

Didn't one or two of them soldiers stay out 30 year or something....like one of mchull dogs reeling a hare in...lol

I was the judge and gave it “Champion Lurcher” , based solely on looks, condition, conformation and temperament. Its impossible to judge on working ability unless you have personally seen the dog

No bull in the originals, I’m sure, but plenty added bull later.

I saw a Minshaws x bull blue bitch, it was stunning.

People called them Minshaws long after the Minshaws blood had been well diluted with other blood.

Cheers.

with you mate

No bull in the ones we used to run, my dog was a grandson of blue and one of the lads I used lamp with from up there was out of Andy's Bulpa. I can't comment on the recent ones as it was the 90,s when I kept and ran them. They were just a lurcher x lurcher mix, but ours were heavy with collie. But they kept are freezers full of all sorts and us on our toes back then lamping

D.Cooper near me had a line of huge deerhound/bull/greyhounds back in the 90's. Big smooth blue brindles, beautiful looking dogs.

Was him who jumped out of a plane with a load of cash ???

Vic showed me and his photo albums . Plenty of stuff put to bed. I had a grandson out of blue

I had a bitch which was a daughter and granddaughter of Blue. I had high hopes of if when it was a pup. But it turned out to absolutely crap. It would take me all evening to list its faults. Trust me it was a dud. Too inbred I reckon.

They can’t all be winners, I had a grandson to bulpa , had high hopes for the pup. But it just never got used to travelling in motors . And at that time in my life all my lamping was a good few hours travelling. I ended up gifting the sapling to a local lad who bushed foxes local , as unfortunately the pup never ever was right in motor’s .
