Pardus 219
The truth is, diets are very tribalistic. Someone tries it, thinks they are getting good results because they cut out a lot of junk and therefore it's the diet that did it and not the restriction of junk. Then you have people on social media using their status to push it, cherry picking from science and misinterpretating studies to match their agenda.
mitre 30
I know there's a lot of junk food and that is a big problem all round anyone's health

mitre 30
Mainly adults know about junk food or they can not be bothered to cook or can not cook it's kids that that live on junk food like chips
Francie, 2,456
Well I think this sums it up pretty accurately You are correct; there are no "essential" carbohydrates, meaning the body can synthesize glucose (the primary fuel source for cells) from other sources like protein and fat, so dietary carbohydrates are not strictly necessary for survival.
Francie, 2,456
We can thrive an survive fine without carbs as there not essential, our body's can produce glucose from protein an fat,so that's that put to bed.

You couldn't survive on McDonald's you'd get sick an fat an die,a few boys have tried it for a test an got fat an unhealthy in the space of two weeks
