paulus 26
Picked this motor and generator set up complete with stand. Looks never to have been installed, It had been chucked out of a unit that had recently been vacated (Liquidated) and re-let, I believe after a quick Google search it would have been used to power AI or a robotic production line, I may be way off the mark, No frigging idea what i am going to do with it But just couldn't leave it there, anyone want to make me an offer Lol. Stavross 16,912
I’d do some digging on them, the Stamford avk will be an expensive alternator/gen I think they are part of Cummins, the other is just a cheap ish motor, but if it’s a popular one it might be worth a few quid
poxon 5,854
I like the old saying one man’s junk is another man’s treasure. I’m the same mate if I see something in a skip that takes my eye or dumped I’ll ask for it or pick it up just incase someone needs it or it’s worth something I’m terrible for nosing in skips if I see one I just can’t leave copper, lead, brass to be dumped I save all the small quantities up if I have a poor run at work I weigh in
Welsh_red 4,859
I found 2 step ladders in the local recycling years ago. Some rich people bought them to do a bit of painting and threw them after . Literally nothing wrong with them but a bit of paint on them As with most equipment and stuff I've had I've got no idea where they are now or where I left them
forest of dean redneck 11,870
I used to be the same Infact I just walked past a skip by Weymouth harbour for a nose Last thing I had out of a skip was last summer a emmelle mtb from round corner of the girlfriend ,the owner was either in a hospice or had recently passed away ? I had to change the wheels and stem/handlebars as they was rusty and I converted it to singlespeed .
