Bitch birthed 3 lost one. Dog and bitch there. Il be keeping bitch back and the dogs going to Bonny Scotland

Back in the day, a lad round ere I used know had 2 Tom Riley deerhound lurchers. Not half crosses , just lurcher x lurcher.   He was very friendly with Tom and used go up Caithness and stay with him e

What a coincidence ! I’ve just put some tentative feelers out about maybe getting a whippet pup, not necessarily a non-ped, maybe a coursing bred whippet from Ireland, a bit bigger, leggier and strong

Brilliant a real ball breaker

Obviously dog deserved it but at the same time when hares like that get away which they usually do they go on to breed superior stock as all know

Amazing run, but you'll not convince some lads that that hare couldn't have been caught sooner.

L , murdo killed 6 in a January morning on proper slop at forfar. Big land . 4 other men blanked and couldn't bend em . That's why he went to good bitches . When put to sally the saluki lurcher.  It clicked . Killers that could stay all day but never fecked about like a lot of coursing dogs

Good old dogs mate and always nice when things come together and click breeding is difficult to get right

Each to there own yeh a good line bred saluki lurcher for the day but Iv always liked the underdog aswell in most things same with dogs and I used to enjoy watching any dog have a go at a decent hare regardless of how it was bred as long as tried there best good fun and always loved and fascinated by hares especially the older I become..

It's easy to see why, they are amazing creatures, pure running machines, amazing feats of nature.

like you say them hares your dogs overmatched really it’s struggling to keep close never mind spin it up only a small fraction of dogs will kill them
