Does anybody have any Teckel or petite basset pups or litters planned?

Yeah, thanks mate but too pricey for our needs.

I keep a few teckels and their grand dogs.

But as you said they're pricey.

Maybe something to consider is putting a teckel across a good terrier/beagle bushing bitch. The terrier/beagle would add a bit of something and it woukd give you a nice type.

Thanks Rebel. I totally agree. Have run hounds in the past but trying to carry on with smaller stuff. Trouble is trying to convince hunting partners to change.

Hard to go away from the hounds, you won't get better.

Hounds if plenty of ground...half xs if ground is tight. I hunted harriers for yrs but couldn't now with the permission I have. Half xs for small patches. Even full beaglea too much for some country

Thanks everybody for your comments. The guy I was trying to help has now decided he doesn't want pups. He is expecting ready made dogs without paying for the privilege. I give up!

Haha, he wouldn't be unique in that regard.  I've heard it a few times.

They're also usually the lads that would want everything youd have in your yard  but you'd get nothing off them.

Leave them off.
