Like I said..little more than a gentleman's agreement 🤝

You don't agree to the rules and then ignore them when you don't like them anymore. If that's what you want to do you leave the club, I wonder why non of our  governments have chosen to leave any of these treaties, and neither would Reform either.

As far as I can ascertain, if you enter this country without the correct visa or permission, be that by plane, in the back of a lorry or by small boat, you are illegal.

As soon as you claim asylum, you cease to be illegal and enter the asylum system, where if your claim is accepted, you stay, if your claim is denied, you are deported.

But we are not deporting most failed asylum claimants, as they use the Human Rights laws , both the ECHR and our own version, that Blair enshrined into UK law.

It used to be that if you flew into the UK without the correct papers, you were simply held by immigration officials until you were put on a flight straight back to where the flight you came in on originated from, whatever country that was. Why isn’t that done now ?
If theycome here on a boat from France, why aren’t they put on a ferry straight back to France ?

Cheers.

Not exactly true because you are only deemed to be illegal if you don't hand yourself in.

Without nit-picking over terms, why are we so concerned over a gentleman's agreement? If they are illegal then why weren't/aren't they being deported immediately?

Because its easy for politicians to hide behind them, it was the same with EU  laws , they lighten domestic politicians work load ...nowt we can do about it , its a easy get out for them especially when they secretly want more immigration to keep the great ponzi scheme going that is our economy. They could deport every one tomorrow if they chose but they don't want it and rather take the flac themselves they hide behind these BS agreements that give them cover.

Allowing in boat loads of asylum seekers is not good for the economy, how can it be when they are just coming over to claim our benefits, why commit political and economic suicide by pushing for it? The point is, they could but they haven't, and neither would Reform. It's easy to talk a good game when you're not in power.

people on benefits contribute to GDP because the government spends money on benefits, which is part of the total value of goods and services produced in the country, but what they won't tell you is that GDP per capita,  the one we feel in our pocket is going down as a result, as long as GDP is going up to constantly balance the books they don't care if you are getting poorer because of it.

This is one option, I've tried to get my head around mass immigration, it's either

lack of spine to stop it

Increasing population for GDP labour cost reductions

An agenda of the powers that be , whether that is to destroy culture or identity or turn us into coffee coloured people in a 70s LSD induced ideal

Create an environment for far right ideology to flourish and begin wars and revolution/chaos

I honestly don't know but it's illogical to me and has been going on for a long time . When the country has been in austerity for well over a decade and all of our NHS , schools etc are on their arse why would you incentivise illegal migration through the reward of benefits housing etc , everyone knows this is the reason they come here , they don't stop in Romania or Hungary they get feck all .

You can also add they are a great tool for winning elections,  Stop the boats! Or some other toothless campaign slogan.

Hungary can stop it Poland can stop it , the only conclusion is our Government doesn't want to stop it , its as clear as day

I agree but I'd like to know why exactly. Is it purely to stay in with the echr or is it because it fits the agenda of the civil service bureaucrats who would happily give this country away to all the boat people to appease there white guilt.

I agree, got to be one of the above, it's not possible to get it so wrong and let it be wrong so blatantly and for so long. Its intentional for why?, I'm not sure.

They could've incentivised the British people's to have more children, educated them , provided more training for shortages, closure of heavy industry began our benefit tumour by creating lack of opportunity, poverty, and drugs and crime that go along with that, so you can view these migrants as your saviour and many do work etc, but the question is why are they necessary and why is it encouraged to the point and beyond of changing British culture and values .

There will be many different reasons for many different people but the rule of thumb I find is follow the money 💰  our elected representative are no longer representing the people, so who are they representing,  Big corps , Big pharma , the MIC and so on,  everything is being geared to remove the small man out the equation, stunt his wages, produce more for less and  remove our ability to unite and overthrow these globalist shitehawks.
