Apparently he has given Hundreds of thousands of pounds away In the past to good causes and to people. He comes across as a really top bloke . When he did this on that tv show it was in every whatsapp group I was in , everybody was in love with it . Even my mother messaged it to me it was that popular . I get goosebumps still when I listen to it
mel b 3,019
Is this for real ?. I only read about it for the first time yesterday, and it says that he is a not for profit actor . If it is true , then this gentleman has my utmost respect.
WILF 48,258
Top man, however, I suspect the real story here isn’t the deed…..it’s how he accomplishes the deed….as in, it should be a wake up call that every single day a million quids worth of debt is sold for 10% of its value. It’s sold for that because the money never existed in the first place…..that’s the system we live in and it’s just plain wrong !! They wouldn’t let a thug on a council estate get away with it, he’d be in jail…..but for government and their corporate banking bosses it’s fine ?!! It’s a f***ing scandal ! Some poor f****r will be contemplating suicide today over a few grands worth of debt that don’t actually exist and can, at best, be valued at a fraction of what they think they owe. Sickening ! jukel123 9,046
Maybe we should have a 'top man/ woman thread and a "good news thread.' Might counter the doom and gloom threads started by me and others?

The big stuff is great, but people need to realise that (imho) the micro stuff is just as important….helping at the school fete, sticking a tenner in the turnstile at the local non league club or something like that….when you do stuff like that everyone is a Micheal Sheen imho The amount of people I see just completely unengaged with their community or their nation these days is awful…..teeth, Range Rover sport, sleeve tattoo….after that, couldn’t give two fucks ! It’s shit. Little things matter Edited March 7 by WILF
Aled 523
Wilf there i agree with you, I'd rather pay my £25 a season membership (which i do) of my local amateur rugby club , than pay to go and see the 1st class clubs play.
