TOMO 27,194
Come on ray don't ever stop with the weights and measure thing ...this place won't be the same without it... I remember meeting you the first time at the Midland....you had Bryn with you about a year old I had Tara the kelpie cross...then we would bump in to each other at other lurcher shows...and always had the crack with the likes of...Simmoman...bosun ..strong stuff...then the day arrived when you brought the new dog Buck to a show...and of course the crack was fierce from me with him resembling a Bear...then when we were together again at the Midland just before covid....and you were shopping for redback boots....I had to keep holding on to Buck whilst you haggled with travelers thinking they were the store owners....brilliant that was...real good memories..and I'm sure you got even more... RIP Buck 7 3 Quote Link to post

Bangersanmash 3,868
Worst thing anyone can go through losing a dog not only a dog but a loyal companion. That doesn't judge you doesn't turn its back on you in hard times. Loyalty to the end. Sorry for your loss mate. Gone but never forgotten. Was just watching this clip before coming on here. mushroom 13,387
Read this last night mate but found it hard to reply to in the moment. Like said, hundreds have never met you or Buck but they know how much he meant to you and feel your loss with you (me included). Chin up and get back on the saddle Shroom. 2 Quote Link to post

jukel123 9,011
He was a THL legend mate. Well done for trying something different, the GSD/Greyhound. I remember the litter when it was born. As has been said, it's a crying shame he never sired any litters. Thanks for entertaining us over-the years with tales of his and your exploits. In the end you did him a favour. Once you get your move sorted, a decent dog will turn up and you will feel a lot more optimistic mate. Edited March 7 by jukel123 1 Quote Link to post
