My old man was walking the dog during a hot summers day and mate who didn't know the dog bumped in to them and tried wrapping his arms around the dog to give it a fuss and the dog did grow at him, the kids fault really, at 12 year old I definitely wasn't daft enough to try and cuddle a big, strange dog. And that during filming his mum died and Stephen Graham offered to adopt him, if things didn't work out with his estranged father.
