I've never really understood why those scooters have such a big following...there pretty ugly to look at and scooters are horrible to ride....the seating position is so unnatural for a bike...I like the old British/jap bikes and also modern bikes but never a scooter.....when people do a custom job on them its like putting lip stick on a pig to me.....i mean, each to there own if that floats your boat, and all that.....

Horses for courses.I had a couple of scooters in the late 80s and then had loads of quick bikes over the years.Ive still got a Ducati scrambler and a 1978 kawasaki z900 and haven't road either in 2years the z900 probably 5years.The scooters are a bit of fun and even on mine which are fairly quick Im unlikely to loose my licence wheras when I rode bikes regular I was risking my licence and my health everytime I went out. What bikes have you got?

Stone the crows 14 pages of fellas in their 40's/50's/60's on about clothing and not one mention of Sergio or Lacoste....not a Fila Terrinda trackie top insight !!......us West Ham boys in the 80's would pitch up to grounds in a nice diamond Pringle and Farahs only to be greeted by some Northern scruff in a blue Parka with a furry hood or a farmer in dungarees......and as for these dopes with their silly mod haircuts zipping about on a scooter f****n roll on.....we had the old East End boys/West End girls thing going on,some dolled up sort out of the offices would of blown a raspberry at you picking her up on some little pop pop scooter you had to have a decent motor about you even if it weren't yours !

Ive still got some old 80's clobber up in the loft just as keepsakes, we had a 80's based party about 10 years ago i got the old Fila BJ trackie top out someone offered me a bullseye for it on the spot  couldnt do it though all them old garms hold special memories.

As for all that shit Cp/Stone Island gear it always cracks me up these modern day footie lads wearing that when it all comes up 3 sizes too small and only midgets and skinny little wretches can even get in it !

Jesus dressing up in that gear now would be just as bad as having a silly Paul weller haircut and parka or dressing as a skinhead in your 50s/60s ok if youre going to a fancy dress party. As for East End boys and West end girls,I think you need to give your favourite Pet shop Boys CD a rest mate.

And as for Cp/Stoney being too small. Not everyone gets fat and out of shape once they get past 40.

I had the squarer Z1 lawson rep but sold it to my mate a few years back as although it was nice it was a bit of a bitsa.Wheras the older z9 that I have apart from a decent swing arm and rear shocks is pretty much origional so worth a few bob

it used to be like for me and lacoste never fit with the internet came bigger sizes lol

If you was still wearing all that clobber when the internet came along you must of looked a right toby it was 70's/80's gear .

There was always bigger sized Lacoste stuff they just changed how they converted the sizing from French for the Yank market.....ive got some old size 7 polo's up in the loft i had as a youngster that i can barely get past my shoulders now

The ol woman bought me an old favourite i had years ago in some retro place on holiday the other year had to have a size 10!....the biggest they go is size 11 fto fit a 58 inch chest i think it was so you'll be alright

Nah i always liked the E17 version better they slowed it right down the Pet Shop Boys one always sounds rushed to me.

If a lifetime of strength and fitness training means i now cant get into Stone Island clobber then so be it........but not every bloke past 40 has the same little 38 inch pigeon chest they had when they was 13 and still be able to pull off XL Stone Island gear !

It was important to know your Diadora Borg Elite from a Super Samba back in the 80's mate......again,the Northerners didnt mind getting battered wearing maroon dungarees but us East End lads liked to get battered in style
