I don’t think anyone involved came out of that looking good. Zelenskyy could’ve embarrassed the pair of them if he’d had the guile to, and they were like children.

The war needs to be concluded and that will be a compromised outcome but Trump isn’t doing anything impressive at this stage. He’s actually got an opportunity to show he’s a better strategist than the democrats but I think this will be seen as his Afghanistan withdrawal moment and if this sets the tone it will go down in the history books as an even bigger US foreign policy shitfest.
