Smash n grab ffs lol. Can see them 2 in nick, the other in mates thinking they are money in transit robbers, comes out in the yard that they got away with a Rayleigh racer

The mad bit isn’t someone steals a bike, the mad bit is that we just talk about it like it’s normal…….let that sink in !

I definitely think there’s much less respect for the law than there was 30 or 40 years ago. I remember knowing who most of the local coppers and CID were.., and there were some devious and nasty fcuke

It's a bit more the way it's done...

It was a daylight smash and grab, not courteous enough? Did you expect them to say "May we take your bicycle old chap, there's a good sport."?Lol

Are you actually being serious? Of course they have! You seriously must wear blinkers or rose tinted spectacles mate.

I can almost guarantee you that the scene we watched on that video don’t happen in Britain circ 1930 to 1970……..

But, not trying to convince you, it’s just an opinion

I’ll also add that you could leave a bike or car outside my local train station for month totally unlocked and nobody ever touches it…..just won’t happen……that is what I regard as normal behaviour.

Mate, things like that have been happening forever.

Back in the mid 90's a gypsy family moved on our street for about a year, the family had two lads a few years older than us. Me and a few mates started knocking about with them in a fashion but we knew you couldn't trust them as far as you could throw them. One of our mates bought a new air rifle and when mooching about we bumped in to the youngest of the gypsies, Simey. His eyes lit up like a magpie when he saw the gun, he begged to have a look at the gun and my mate foolishly handed it over to him. I think you can guess what happened next, he basically told the lad that he was having the gun off him wether he liked it or not. Rats are rats, they have been around forever.

As I said, I’m not trying to convince you, if you regard it as normality then I feel a bit sorry for you

It's not normal no, but it's not a recent occurrence, far from it. The modus operandi might be different, but the result is the same.
