ryaldinhio 5,031
Ayup lads. I read in this section but don't post much, for my own reasons. I always wanted a pup off my bitch, her early days were on here before I went quiet. I'm considering breeding her this year, I always wanted a pup of her and she is now 6 so it's now or never IMO. Like I say there are some early posts on her progress before I stopped sharing. Sure they could be found. I'm in discussions with a good friend about his dog but he's not sure he wants to stud. My bitch is 1/2whip, 3/8grey, 1/8beddy. A big chunk of the line are from ppl on here that I'm not naming. Im open to what mix, wouldnt mind something a bit bigger, coat and stamina maybe, but MUST be biddable. Not overly fussed for bulls but a little bit in the mix isnt a bad thing. So if anyone has a suitable stud for pup or fee let me know. I'd like the chance to see it work. If you got Nike airs and trackies get to f**k. 13 Quote Link to post

I've stayed off here with her as she has kicked on but she is a good bitch. I wanted a rabbit only dog and she has excelled at that. We have had some change in our house last couple years losing 2 terriers and my lab is now 12 so Pip has nothing that can keep with her, feel like timing wise things maybe happen for a reason. Not in a rush, but just seeing what's about of interest. Quote Link to post
WataWalloper 1,648
I’d be thinking about what I wanted, all rounder, I’d use coursing dog, out an out rabbiting dogs, whippet or grew 2 Quote Link to post
white van man 3,390
She’s a nice looking bitch. Looks to be in good condition and bred for the bunnies. Something similar would be great to start my young lad off. How tall is she? ATB with your search. I’d definitely stick to your guns and go see the potential sire at work 1 Quote Link to post

Some mate lol If your going hard at it as an all rounder coursing bred over it , if your just keeping at the rabbits and the odd other thing I would go for beddy grey to keep it biddable and with a decent coat 3 Quote Link to post

Absolute dynamite off the mark and on rabbits. All I wanted her for. Had a few runs on bambi, quickest thing I have ever seen to catch up to them then runs alongside them looking up, which Ive no issue with, I dont want a problem......just being honest......but she is quick. Billy Hill 53
A nice half cross Bedlington grey might suit. 3 Quote Link to post

Mate, this is just my opinion haha so don’t cry like some the wee bitches on here haha if you want to do rabbits 75%time then j think a coursin bred will be too much for what you want, if I was you, I’d be into northern lite or one them lads with the terrier crosses, beg a lining off one there bigger dogs 1 Quote Link to post

She’s plenty big enough for most things then. That’s a perfect size for a rabbit dog. Especially for long slips on big ground. 1 1 Quote Link to post
