Am basing it on practice in my garden at 10 meters and with a good quality broadhead such as a VPA . I thought the penetration would be sufficient. But I could be wrong and I just think it would do it . Also I am on about roe and munties

Buy A sporting chance;: Unusual methods of hunting, [1st ed.] by Mannix, Daniel P. (ISBN: ) from...

After reading the book I found an advert in Guns and Ammo for jivaro blowguns,I bought one, killed close rats with it but it wasnt all that. When I left home I had a go of real dyak blow pipes on Borneo. But what Tim Wells has done is modernise an old weapon and take it to the next level,he has expanded upon the concept,if your ever in Prague phone Coldsteel and visit their European HQ they have the full range of hunting blowguns.

Keep a blow gun in my fishing bag....cost me £10 from temu..use it for the rats👍

I had a few with the one I originally bought, but the modern ones from Cold Steel or schlockmaster are game changers I think.

Every other time I visited the library with my old man as a nipper I would get that book out. I would say that book was very influential in making me want to hunt stuff especially the chapter on ratting.

Have you had a go  of either of those and what was your opinion ? Could you harvest larger prey with one or is is all a clever marketing ploy ?
