Yeah, I’ve watched a few things about it over the years mate…..it’s disgusting isn’t it. I always say, America looks like all the best and all the worst of everything on one continent…….when it’s good it looks very good but when it’s bad it’s savage. Have a look at Peter Santinello as he gos round some of those old mining towns in Virginia, the poverty is almost 3rd world level…..it’s unbelievable

Things aren't going to get better anytime soon,I saw an incredible disparity between wealth yesterday, massive chasm, there's no bridging it,there's always been people at the bottom and those at the top since the dawn of time. Agreed, but it still should be seen as a point of national shame rather than just written off as “just the way it is” imho Edited February 15 by WILF

Even though you are way better travelled than me mate, I profoundly disagree. The 3rd world will always be the 3rd world so forget them. But we are better than the 3rd world, we have access to way more resources of every description both financial and technical…..we should refuse to accept 3rd world conditions in a continent that gave the world everything. Now, while I accept you will never reach “zero”, I completely reject the notion that it has to be regarded as the norm and allowed to grow and continue in developed western nations. We are the most developed people on the planet and we should be ashamed of this back slide to 18th century, rakes progress style degeneracy and poverty in the western world. Nobody should be using a food bank all the time there is trillions for absolute nonsense, we ain’t f***ing degenerates ! Edited February 15 by WILF 1

I guarantee in our lifetimes the problem won't be redressed,it gets worse year on year,it's every man for himself on the streets of London,I see evidence on a daily basis. Goly 1,823
It's a very short sighted view to say we should just ignore the 3rd world. It's in our best interests to see the 3rd world develop for obvious reasons. Does anyone really think that with a rapidly rising population we can just close our eyes and ignore things, not a chance. Borr 6,985
China is a communist dictatorship, a country that starved 50/60 million of its own people and would do it again in a heart beat for the good of the party, no freedom of speech, execution buses, facial recognition everywhere, points for following the rules . I can't think of a worse existence outside of war....

Trains are overpriced, huge parking charges, potholes everywhere, I think certain sectors are impressive. weapons , universities, unfortunately we've gotten lost with corruption, wokery, privatisation of services done badly and left unchecked. Mass migration, zero punishment for criminality, not helped by accepting russian oligarchy and Chinese investment, it's made it easier to see what these idiots running the country have been all about , i hope we get our shot at the UK version of trump Vance and musk. Even if it's the death throes of the UK I'd rather go out fighting lol. Anyway yes , china was on the up , see what happens they've got a lot of overheads...
