I believe Henry Francis had a fight with B Gorman years ago. Remember hearing tales of Joe Wilshure shooting one of the Gaskins in a boozer up Doncaster way in the 70s.

ye mate joe shot bob didn’t he brother in laws i think joe spent a bit a time here with barry when i was younger they matched lucky

I used to work with an older chap than me at the pit who was big mates with the older gypsy's back in the day and he used to tell me tales of some of the matches at Cambridge they had.

them lot were the originals mate weren’t they matched more a lot more then men in 90s all day everyday before all motorways shite motors and they travel all the way here during season constantly a trailers and men down for a run wilrehire ivor lee 

davis russ smith maccullough willie tuff all them manchester burnley lot 

even men from right bottom like john john stanley come all the way for the dogs 

real dedicated men from the start

My grandad was a taxidermist and used to do a few mounts for willie Tuff, my old grandad always spoke well of him

Far as I’m aware this fight was Saturday night? Took place in London (possibly) was watching it on a pals phone on Sunday while trying to watch the Newcastle game , ( should have just watched the fight ) lol anyway from what I seen it was a proper tear up , 4oz gloves , fair play to them
