It's the same every time I've ever gone abroad since being a kid...you get the fat greedy gluttonous  all exclusive cnuts, eating and drinking all day, propping up the bar, being a nuisance....so every f***ing normal person, payed the same, has a limited choice...one of the reasons I'm not to bothered to go abroad these days, bought a motorhome, plenty of places interesting enough in the UK...

One of my brothers was telling me about an all inclusive he stayed at in a hotel in Corfu. One bloke spent all day eating and drinking. At last orders, f****n blotto, he literally collapsed and gashed his head and had to get stitches. Next day he was at the grub and local wine as greedily as ever. Go figure. Mind you, he was a jock. Lower down than a taff.

Mchull is your best bet...he will know

Not the same thing obviously, but I fancy a boat on the broads at some point , kids can have a drive I can fish, pub lunches , don't think it'll be this year but maybe the following year. I wouldn't d

Always fancied the Alaskan cruise tbh and lads who i know who have been on cruises say getting a cabin with a balcony makes a huge difference on the cruise experience. I don't think a cruise is for me

Beach holidays? Wtf are they about? Burning your body to a crisp with nothing to do except stare around you at other idiots. Nightmare for me. But for others it's heaven. Most people say "I've been to Mexico or Greece" etc as though they've seen and done it. When all they've done is sit in a deckchair on a beach. They may as well go to Blackpool.

I have been to Mexico and Greece, but never once on a conventional holiday, not once flown anywhere, stayed for a week or two in the same hotel, then flown back to the UK.

All that having to get dressed up to eat meals, Sitting at the Captains table or dressing up to go out isn't for me, Having to listen to penny millionaires and bragging twats when eating or in the bars also isn't for me, Combine that with not liking Boats or the sea, Then its never going to happen Lol

Reminds me of a line from a comedy on TV. A passenger is invited to sit at the captain's table.

He declines saying that he's paid an arm and a leg for the cruise and he's f****d if he's sitting with the crew for dinner.

That sounds the way to do it. Not stuck with a load of greedy strangers.

It was great all friends and wives so people you enjoy being around...they have a proper captain and staff, chef etc your literally going wherever you want for as long as you want to stay before moving on....wasnt cheap obviously and certainly wouldnt want to do it every year but it was a great holiday.

We're hoping to do Barbados this year.My missus has been over 20 times since the first time she went at 16 as she has a lot of aunties a cousins out there. Her mums sister made a lot of money on a house she bought in Peckham back in the 70s and when she sold it just over 10 years ago made enough to buy a smaller place in Bromley and build a gaff on family land back in Barbados.Everyone says its very expensive out there but she said not if we go where te locals go.Buy our food off the old lady who cooks it in her kitchen and sells it out of her window in cartons and it will be much better than the restaurants that are dulling everything down for the yanks.Drink in the rum shacks rather than the tourist spots. And she said its so safe and they love the British out there.Wheras Jamaica she'd only go back if it was on an all inclusive resort. She went once with her sons father who's parents had moved back and built a place when they retired. She said even as a black couple as soon as they heard their uk accents they were trying to rip them off.The blokes out there were rude and crass even though she was blatantly with her fella and she always felt on edge like something bad could go down at any point. She says Antigua is nice but st Lucia is boring with a really wet humid climate.

I heard a story of a bloke who was raped on Jamaica in the blue mountains, went to look at a weed plantation while drunk.

My sis hated Jamaica,I can't think of anyone off the top of my head who visited and enjoyed the place.

Anyone I know of who liked it stayed on a resort the whole time.I honestly can't see the point in going somewhere and not taking in the sights. My missus said even at 16/17 she would go out of an evening on her own in Barbados and locals would chat with her and make sure they ordered her a taxi .Said she's never once felt unsafe there.Apparently the rest of the carribean calls Barbados little England

In Kenya with a mate , travelling about but mostly Germans in the hotels and the staff called them the prisoners as they never left the hotel grounds. My mate did all in in Barbados which I think he enjoyed, when he returned he was on the other side with the Atlantic and his missus got mugged for her sweets on a jungle quad tour thing lol. I guess if you've got a waterpark and restaurants etc you can fill a few days but I couldn't stay on one site all holiday,
