jukel123 8,679
Any good? I've ñever really fancied them . Never fancied being corralled and processed and having a guide with a flag guiding me round like a sheep. I'm not interested in overeating or drinking for that matter so the all inclusive is of no interest to me. The Mrs says we should give one a try. I would only be willing to spend 2 and a half grandish for the pair of us for a week around Europe. Anybody recommend them? Which ones in particular? leegreen 2,210
You have to be of a certain age, or mind set. A short Baltic one may interest me, I think I need to get a bit more decrepit first.
Councilestatekid 1,963
I never fancied one pal went on iona to the fjords the ship was amazing mate.food top notch. I always thought couldn't be arsed with bein cramed in same people but ships that big u mite not see people in a week only downside was where it docked because think the ships far to big for the fjords really wasn't a great deal to do.we'd definitely do another well we are going to at some point but defo round Caribbean.the worst thing was everything paid for on key card so mrs went salon before celibration nite we went in spa 3 times me just in saunas and hydro and her doin whatever massages and facials I smashed casino a few times the duty free etc then u get charged at the end and realise how much you've spent .think was 3o something bars and restaurants on that ship my mates just come back from one round Caribbean paid 1200 each for him n mrs flew to dominican then boat round Barbados etc soon as he got home booked another

tatsblisters 10,308
Always fancied the Alaskan cruise tbh and lads who i know who have been on cruises say getting a cabin with a balcony makes a huge difference on the cruise experience. I don't think a cruise is for me tbh as the older I get i don't feel as comfortable around large groups of people and my social skills are not too good and could not visualise sitting around strangers having a meal though the wife is totally opposite with looking after and working with people all her working life as a care worker.

Qbgrey 4,157
I reckon it will be good especially the fords, etc. it not my cup of tea, all canned in, like a huge water caravan, all the food, shit, staff the lot all contained in a floating structure, ole biddies queing for food stuffing thier guts allday.paying top money for drinks etc, and cabarets I’m not keen on. But, but I’d like to try one day. My mate went all 15 of them around Caribbean, America I believe and he loved it. And thier are a bit quiet , shy country folk,, ground workers so it can’t be bad. gnasher16 30,470
We all did a private yacht hire thing around the Greek Islands a few years ago like a holiday of a lifetime kind of thing where we all chipped in it was by far the best " holiday " ive ever had.....but a massive great big cruise ship with hundreds of people on,nah not for me....only ever went on one cruise years ago and havent done it again since......dont forget its not like you can just say " bollocks to this im out of here "........obviously them ships are like a small town theres plenty to do,but ultimately its easy to slip into the same boring pattern day in day out, its not like you can just jump off and go for a relaxing walk to get away from it all. I’ve always been a big believer in your first thought is your best thought, so chances are you will hate it. Personally, it wouldn’t appeal to me one bit…..wrapped round all them people all the time is my idea of hell, maybe I’m just a miserable b*****d ! lol 5
