jukel123 8,571
What about the male menopause? Anybody grown a silly moustache, bought a look _at _ me car or motorbike? Perhaps used hair dye or started dressing like a much younger man? I've never made an arse of myself in that way( well no more than usual) but I do remember drinking endlessly and playing 'I'm not the man I used to be'. Until my Mrs told me I was a self pitying wanker. And that brought that particular episode to a swift conclusion. 1

Failing that, fingers in ears, ( when she's not looking) also work well in emergency. Edited February 6 by jukel123

jukel123 8,571
Tbh, I think every ailment is given stupid publicity these days. I don't remember my mother's generation making a song and a dance about it . My mother had a stillborn child and 9 kids. She just soldiered on. I don't think she had counselling and antidepressants which seem to be the go to remedies for everything these days. My Mrs was irritable for a couple of years but we both knew what it was so just ignored it. Same as we always do with life's problems. And every normal person does. Life is often crap and then you croak. Let's get on with it. Edited February 7 by jukel123
downsouth 7,416
My missus is in the early stages of it and is getting some pretty shitty symptoms. But if shit starts getting her down I just remind her that she still looks 10times better than 90%of the rough old frumps I see out and about that are 10+years younger than her and half of them are full of filler and botox and shit.

I think my stress is down to the concern for her.
