Dog looks tip top, fair play. I take pride having a fit dog even if it is a pet, you use any supplements or owt?

Not really supplements as such,i conditioned a lot of Pit Bulls for people years ago so developed a few of my own little concoctions that i occasionally put into him he gets enough exercise to warrant it but he's never going to be stripped right down theres just no reason to peak him out....just nice as you say to keep a dog in decent clip even if just a pet.

Personally i wouldnt refer to my own as a working dog as i dont put specific work infront of him.....i live pretty much in the forest so he spends a lot of time after anything thats got fur on it mooching around etc all a bit hit and miss but its the athletic side i can appreciate with him......after all said and done if id wanted teeth in him id have got a pit bull and these are nowhere near pit bulls in my opinion.

that’s it mate the not slouches i had a great one when a kid had it with me lurcher thought it was one lol jump 5 bar gates he was tallish leggy but when fit looked like a whippet body ripped up trained to a tee half human with paranoid aggressive tendencies lol

i’ll see me old lady has any pics

You see with every respect, and i dont want to be rude.....but thats not an athletically bred Stafford....you cant just call dogs athletes because they jump over things or bite a hide attached to a springpole.....the dog has pretty much no muscle tone or condition.....dogs bred from sporting/working dogs have genetics that match their background and they show that in their physical structure....people think i condition my dog but i dont really he just gets good exercise and a good food bowl....he has a natural air and level of fitness that doesnt need a lot of work put into the dog to bring him up to condition....thats just how a sporting/working gene pool shows itself in a dog.

Theres words and terms used within these type of dogs said with no real meaning people say things like " athletic " and " game " with no real understanding of what they actually are and then try to pass it off as something real..........again my apologies if it sounds harsh no offence like.

Honest mate the teams winning monthly in the cotwolds agility club. That land in the images is the training ground. They own the land. Good few acres with a carvan on for guests to stay in. Been down a few times. It's only like body builders out of training they lose condition dogs do the same. Give them a few months muscle memory kicks in your back in condition. A know this myself with gym. Somebody's thats green to body building it will take them longer to condition than somebody who's trained before.

Mate, nobody is knocking your dog, it's in good nick for what it is but it isn't bred like a proper athletic staff, it's clearly off show dog tackle even if they might do bits like agility competitions and what not.
