Its unlikely to force the top kennels of Eastern Europe and South America to add a bit of Terrier blood to their breedings just incase really is it

Probably interesting for the history buffs though and for what its worth i dont believe theres no Terrier blood involved in the Apbt....do you ?

I don't know mate, if there is, it varied between lines. Looking back at the very old pics, some APBT's have that proper bulldog look and some look terrier type, but the confusing part is lines can throw both types. I'm of the opinion that there's no smoke without fire, it surely must have happened at some point, somewhere, I don't think it had a massive bearing on their performance either way.

Bring your dog down in summer for an hour or two onto training course. Al arrange it for you mate.

I wouldnt demean any dog ive ever owned into making him chase a lure over an a frame while i stand counting, getting him to jump up a wall, drag a weight cart or any of the other embarrassing nonsense some grown men do in order to boost their egos....all for a poxy rosette.....i respect the bull terrier breeds far too much to do that.

Yes, and that still might have been a bag of shite, only because someone makes It dog aggressive doesn't mean nothing. My old man's was a complete nightmare with other dogs but he was born that way, a few dogs attacking him as a pup flicked a switch. He wasn't walking around the village setting it on helpless dogs FFS. Lol

That wez pit wasn't set on helpless dogs. A can't say much about that bitch of his. Another guy had a pit big red dog. One of my pals told him keep it out of garden. Because his stafford bitch same lines as my bitch wouldn't allow it to start bouncing around the garden. He didn't listen. Next minutes she was swinging off it. Lol. The lads well known around the area for his pitbulls. This dog was a big dog too. Like a f***ing lioness. But didn't know what to do when the stafford was on its windpipe put it into a state of shock fitting. Couldn't get hold of the stafford under its jaw line. But same again. The lad was warned.

There was skullduggery and plain lies at every era of the breeds history start to finish....and im sure still is today..... bloodlines all threw up different traits and types which was always my argument for pure lines it took the lies and guesswork out.....i can look at a thousand Apbt's even today and pick out every single pure Mayfield dog for example.....at least with pure family dogs you can predict the outcomes to a degree and then you dont have these arguments i dont personally believe what Stratton is saying certainly regards Tudors old dogs going back to the Henry dogs from England.....but like i say im no historian of the breed.

One of the judges Dean cund his great grandfather , grandfather , an father. Had the working stafford. Wasn't until Dean's great granfather started showing them around the country in the wmc before the kennel club even got involved really. These dogs I'm showing you go back to his family lines. One of the best if not the best in the country for the breed. He's upset a few people that think what's In the kennel club book.

dean use to run lucky stuff?

It's a b*****d when you get teep just on the bladder area. The guys over in Thailand always train to hit that area. Because it moved the cup that protects the groin area. Clever c**ts. You have to re position it. When still fighting. You imagine getting kick pushed in the bladder area. Not a nice feeling. That's why you see them pulling there body's in. Lol
