Sorry chief didnt see this. No comparison in any way to the pit bulls but nice natured decent little athlete in fairness.

I owned staffs and then pits for over 30 years and you can't really compare them but it's interesting that the English bull terrier has always been the preferred bull breed when crossed as hunting dogs over here. Apart from their original purpose and as family dogs I can't see the need for the APBT as an ingredient in any hunting dogs but a lot of people have these and love them so each to their own.

Perhaps because they got established first before the APBT started arriving in droves? I can't see why anybody starting from scratch would choose to use EBT's over the APBT.

When I asked you for your honest  opinion  in pm , what regions you thought had the best dogs and men you named  them top to bottom 

1- north east 

2- south of england 

3 - Irish 

4- Scottish 

5- midlands
