Sorry chief didnt see this. No comparison in any way to the pit bulls but nice natured decent little athlete in fairness.

Sounds a scary woman she does.

2 staffs I kept in a bygone time, nice examples of the type I admire still to this day

Nice dogs, these are nice dogs, think this breeder lives in Italy though. I haven't seen their pedigrees, is that Barclay related to the Risky dogs?

When we say working staffords what work are we talking about ,don't mean 2 sound a c but they look rather clean shaven

Personally i wouldnt refer to my own as a working dog as i dont put specific work infront of him.....i live pretty much in the forest so he spends a lot of time after anything thats got fur on it mooching around etc all a bit hit and miss but its the athletic side i can appreciate with him......after all said and done if id wanted teeth in him id have got a pit bull and these are nowhere near pit bulls in my opinion.

Barclay is Maccy's sire yes....my dogs double bred on Barclay, some people dont like the Barclay stuff they think his breeding is suspect but it all adds up to me.

Riskys runs a few different lines i believe.

No nothing like that theres no Apbt in these dogs....basically Barclays father was a white dog with red patches but was heavy bred on Springviews old original Red Strain dogs....genetically its unusual but nothing to get excited about.....the other thing is Springviews old dog Sinbad who was a 4xW match dog and behind all the Barclay dogs, some folk believe the dog never even existed.

If you want a pit bull tho you’d want a good one then you’ve actually just got a liability haha can imagine even them athletic staffs are a lot easier to handle an keep active

I’ve a few that are half decent mate and some of mine are completely fine with normal type dogs and will even play with them, I’ve not came across a naturally man aggressive game bred dog yet. Aggression and gameness aren’t the same thing 👍

To me that’s about as good as it gets, maybe one day when the wee dogs are gone

I was torn between a nice staff and a gundog and I reckon I made the wrong choice with this fecking loony 🤣
