But you flit between mandatory and voluntary. I'm sure there's a difference. Would you like my bank details?
steve t 977 Posted Monday at 13:23 Report Share Posted Monday at 13:23 Instead of retiring at 40 what about working 3 days a week as long as you want? Gives you time for enjoyment and also the benefits of working?

chartpolski 24,320 Posted Monday at 15:01 Report Share Posted Monday at 15:01 I worked and studied hard, took one or two risks in going abroad to live and work, way, way out of my comfort zone. It worked out well and I planned to retire at fifty, but at the request of my employers I waited until I was 51. Ive greatly enjoyed 21 years of retirement and at 72 years of age I’m still fit, healthy and active, and certainly not a burden on the NHS , ( yet) , or the Exchequer. I owe nothing and claim nothing and I could name plenty at half my age who should be way in front of the queue for Grebby’s euthanasia plan before me ! LOL ! Cheers.

Killing old people to save the state money ,great idea ,we could have incentive schemes too ,like it you persuade your grannie ,who is only 68 to go at the same time as your grandad ,then you get a tax rebate ,and why even bother with the cost of drugs when a cushion when they're having an afternoon nap costs nothing but why stop at old people ?what about disabled people and the cost of all those fkn ramps ,surely we could cull them even earlier ,sick people ? cancer? some of them little bald bastids last fkn years ,it must cost £££££££££££ ,downs syndrome ? they stop being cute after about 10 yrs old anyway ,what about stupid people ? they must cost the state a fortune ,or is that too close to home for you . Downs stop being " cute"after 10 years of age ?that's some statement !!

Oldies aren't appreciated or cared for by the wider family as they are say, in the rest of Europe. We stick ours in care homes, take the houses and possessions of those that have them and farm them out to private entrepreneurs. Their carers are paid rock bottom wages which reflects the importance they are given. But oldies fought the wars and built modern Britain. It's a shitshow. In some circumstances sticking them into care homes ultimately becomes the only option. Even if a person were to put their own lives on hold in order to care they ultimately will not have the necessary skills needed as time goes on. I do not think that was what you meant, and agree many people are quick to wash their hands and pass on responsibility. As a country, after an honest working life of paying taxes and NI contributions, we are failing those who deserve better. But getting back to Goly's thread, what about harvesting organs? Shame to waste them. At 70 will they be of any worth? Move the cut-off date to 60 and it could be a canny little money spinner for someone with vision getting in on the ground floor. I'll be 60 this year and still pass my yearly MOT's with flying colours.

I'll contact Goly when the time comes.

But to be honest, unless it's changed since I moved down here, you could euthanise half the population of Worsbrough common and then work your way out. You'd never run out of candidates.
