harryshounds 1,266
Used to read hunting books/mags constantly, had a large collection over the yrs(hardcome, Plummer etc..)but with the Internet/laptops/phones over the last 20 off yrs I read less and less til eventually never at all, so I decided it's time to get back into it. Purchased these over last couple of weeks. Enjoying reading hunting stuff again. Any recommendations for terrier/hound/lurcher/moocher enthusiast?
eastcoast 4,227
Hello Harry, I would assume you have read Lucas' classic? It was loaned to me by the man who sourced me my 1st working terrier (not the copy in the picture, he had a 1st edition), in my opinion the best book ever written on working terriers. The Mr. Chapman book was the last that I bought/read. The Daniele Piacentini just as a curve ball, interesting to read an Italian working terrier addict's perspective.

tatsblisters 10,422
I admit I read less than I used to and that's down purely to the Internet and books now I just get to my kindle and read for a short while when I go to bed on a night. Despite having a large collection of books one of my favourites is the great game by Wyman an old school poacher.
