Maybe one of the pilots was Australian and forgot where he was ? PMSL. ! Cheers.

Washington D.C. is on ETZ, (Eastern Time Zone), which is -5 hours from GMT, ( Greenwich Mean Time), maybe that explains it ? All commercial and military aircraft operate on Z Time, ( Zulu time),

As is regularly said on “The Army Rumour” site; “Never let the truth get in the way of a good rumour” ! LOL ! Who knows what caused the collision ? I’ll just wait and see and decide if it se

It's strange how people focus on a spectacular accident like this, me included.

But worldwide its estimated  that 150,000 people die every day.

Except for the families involved, in the scale of things this is nothing. Even if it's terror related. But we will speculate for ever on this incident.

Thought for the day. I'm collecting my coat.

Do like the Don's take on this !

He’s got a point with the DEI nonsense.

The list of people that the FAA have to include was insane , in fact it said mental problems shouldn’t bar you from being an Air Traffic Controller !!!!

Cheers.

Was Americans reporting on it mate about it being reported before it happened similar when the bbc reported live that one of the twin towers had fallen 20 minutes or so before it acutely did.

who knows we are in the final battle so there will be a lot of foul play as we go along but the number of plane crashes recently ain't no coincidence's

that helicopter that crashed can also be controlled like a drone without the need for anyone flying it

What and who would benefit from the death of all those poor people scotty ?.

With the very limited information available, it looks, to me, like “human error”.

In the video there appears to be two commercial aircraft on a landing approach trajectory, and a military helicopter crossing the flight path at right angles.

The audio from the tower has the Air Traffic Controller asking if the helicopter crew can see the aircraft, and the helicopter crew saying yes they can, very shortly before the collision.

The helicopter crew were evidently operating wearing night vision. Maybe this restricted their periphery vision and they were looking at the wrong commercial aircraft ?

It appears the ATC were very late in contacting the helicopter crew and the helicopter crew were not aware of the other commercial aircraft until it was too late !

This is, of course, complete conjecture on my part, and it may prove to be completely wrong; but it does look like nothing more than a tragic accident.

Cheers.

Think they've said unofficially that they were short staffed one controller to manage helicopters and passenger jets...

Could be; as I said it’s complete conjecture on my part.

The US has excellent crash investigators and the “black box” of the aircraft has been recovered so there will be more information incoming.

Just heard the helicopters “black box” has also been recovered.

Cheers.
