jok 3,325
It’s a lot to take on if you haven’t had them before. For starters where are you keeping her, ie hutch, water and food? Certainly looks ok so at least you are in with a chance. Working or pet? Don’t forget they can do some damage very quickly if they get out. Jok. 1 Quote Link to post

It’s in a hutch I bought one yesterday eating and drinking fine I am not sure weather it was a worker or pet but I was gonna try a few sets with it when it gains my trust. Cookie 1 Quote Link to post
jok 3,325
There must be loads of folk who would gladly take you out. Just a word of warning. Does are carrying young so you might get stuck underground. I presume you haven’t got any gear so be careful. Jok. 1 Quote Link to post

More than likely be next season before it does anything mate. The pup seems to get on fine with it so they should make a good pair if it does it job. Cookie 1 Quote Link to post
jok 3,325
Gives you time to get her ready for the collar. You’ll soon know if she’s worn one before. Good luck. Jok. 1 Quote Link to post

Luckee legs 485
Hopefully she works out for you. On the timid nature; be prepared to give her time, maybe a lot of time. For example; I have taken in two ferrets this winter (different occasions) the jill is a good worker but even after 3 months with me she has days when she wants to hide in her cage or one of the pipes in the run. The male took 5 weeks before he would come to me to be picked up. the first two weeks I had to force the issue and get him out of his sleeping area. 2 Quote Link to post

jok 3,325
Got this mental picture of thecooksta wandering round Newcastle looking for another old guy, just caught a ferret in his chicken pen, willing to give it a new home and by the way, here’s locator and collars?? The mind boggles but you never know. Just a bit of fun btw. Jok. 1 Quote Link to post
