Even though it was tough for some of us under Thatcher i have got to be honest it was better mate. Though in all honesty if Blair had not got in i reckon the Tories would have eventually let a lot of unskilled migrants in though not on the scale that Tony Blair did.

UK currently has a population density of 279 people for every square kilometer,it's packed,it's full.

I mentioned this in a post about pollution, the infrastructure of this country is not capable of dealing with a influx of this magnitude. Literally every single aspect of our lives will suffer add that to the cultural differences of the people coming in and its a disaster waiting to happen.

The younger generations are the ones who will suffer over time.

People, voted for Labour in the last election hopingnfor an end to sleaze and austerity. Within weeks we learned Starmer and his wife were accepting undeclared freebies  and Reeves reduced the old age pension. New boss same as the old boss.

Yep a very sad sad state of affairs for the younger generations

The average British kid wants to be a tradesman,HGV driver, whatever but something that's not too difficult, the average Indian kid (huge number aspire to come to the west) aspires to be a doctor,a scientist,an engineer, watch the workplace Powershift 10 years hence, brits are slipping down the bottom of the pile,it's reality.

There was a fella a while back in my shop and we got chatting. I can't remember exactly what job role he had . But he was doing talks in schools. And he said most of the kids he had spoken to wanted to be YouTubers or social media millionaires.

We had a Paki engineer subcontracting for us, he was a good engineer tbf, did all his training over there, they use the same textbooks as us and are trained to the same standards. It's a no brainer for them to want to come over here, he was on around 100k a year, not to be scoffed at.

I don't think their anything wrong with aspiring to be a tradesman or driver . What I have seen a problem with younger kids 16/17 years old in the football team is aspirations to make money from crypto /tik tok/ drop shipping . They all pretty much think its their going to make a fortune in them because it looks so easy on tik tok . Some people are builders , some people are architects . I knew my place in the world when I was younger and maybe to my detrement didn't see myself as the other . The kids I know don't see building etc as their career , its just something their doing for coin and they don't really put the effort in because the tik tok /  crypto riches are just round the corner .

I do realise I'm talking about a very very small sample size in my town but it bugs the hell out of me.  I sometimes feel like grabbing the kid and saying " get that bullshit quick money scheme out of your head , your dads a lorry driver , your mum works in co op , your one of us . Now take notice of what your boss does in work and get plastering and learn to do it properly and maybe you'll make good money at this "

There's a reason the NHS is filled with foreign doctors, the IT world is dominated by indians etc, none of the kids there want to work in Tesco (even though I have a pic of a Nepalese guy I met wearing a Tesco jacket).
