It definitely does now since I took the fuucker apart last night I’ve tested all electrics (tore every wire out lol), I’ve held a lighter against the copper ‘stat to see if the compressor shut off (it did). I even hit everything with a hammer, just in case I’m waiting on the mrs getting in from work, then it’s off to see some cnut who would like to rip me off. I’ve told her I’m not buying another new one. This cnut was nearly 700€ ffs. 3-4 weeks out of warranty and it goes toes up. Bollocks to that. I’d rather spend 200 notes every 1-2 years on a secondhand one. At least I can’t complain then. All new white goods are designed to fail as soon as the warranty is finished. CNUTS! If the same one you bought is still available just buy a new one fill out the warranty then put the broken one back in the box and take it back and ask for a refund simples 1
