No wonder they are so long lived. Their diet is nothing like the sugar, fat and crap we have learned to eat. The people look skinny as a result. Glad you all enjoyed your holiday and thanks for the photos.

Thank you mate, at the end of our last day now, it's been great.. if you get the chance get over, it's hard work (we do loads of walking, getting "lost") but really worth the effort..

My girl got the choice of restaurant for final meal... she wanted to finish with ramen, and found a place that had good reviews, 20 minutes following Google maps and we had the best ramen, real local place..you order outside the restaurant on a machine, 1 man working the place and all locals eating..perfect end

Lunch was my choice... steak and chips cooked over open fire... God we've made pigs of ourselves lol

I was going to go Italian today,but remembered this thread and ate Japanese with a fusion/Chinese twist instead because the decor was stunning.

My son does a lot of business in Japan and is over there often he really rates the place as well as the people.....he always says that for a heavily populated city Tokyo puts London to shame regards cleanliness and overall standard of living.

Apparently Japan is the only nation in the world that does not give Citizenship to Muslims,permanent residency is not given to Muslims infact they cannot even rent a house.....The Japanese government regard Islam as a mental illness they refuse the sale or import of the Koran published in Arabic,refuse to have the Islamic language taught in the University of Japan etc.....also i think im right in saying that Japan has no embassies in Islamic countries.

To me its part of the reason they have one of the highest IQ's of any race of people.....they care for and protect their own people with basic common sense and have absolutely no guilt about offending minority groups.

What you state about Muslims in Japan not true mate. I think you are quoting a Facebook post containing those" facts" but it's not true. There are Muslims and mosques in Japan. They are not subject to any discriminatory laws. Japan has had to finally allow immigration because their own birth rate is so low. Some of these workers are Muslim. A lot work in the care sector.
