Like you say some exercise is great but alot are lifting heavyweight stress on the heart. My grandfathers 89 an bouncing. Does his exercises every morning. Sit ups , few press ups. Stands at kitchen side leaping up like a kangaroo. Funny to watch. His saying a man's body is like a motor. You may look okay on the outside but if the engine is no good then the car is worth nothing. Same with the body with these weight lifters lol Edited Sunday at 15:49 by Bangersanmash

Very simple really, Cut out all the junk and especially sugar, I only eat wholemeal carbs and eat proper meals in realistic portions, it really is simple, just a change of attitude towards food. I also stopped drinking and all takeaways.

Francie, 2,306 Posted Sunday at 20:16 Report Share Posted Sunday at 20:16 Goly tomo an everyone else this is a cracking video, very informative. I know goly says otherwise, but carbs do raise glucose which in turn your body has to release insulin to try an lower it an if your doing this a few times a day it could lead to insulin resistance which leads to a whole host of sickness. But here's the thing iv just learnt in this video, there is carbs out there that have a relatively small impact on your glucose blood levels, interesting something could have say 20grams of carbs but the body can only absorb say 2grams because the rest of the carbs is wrapped up in fiber which we cannot digest,so it's a relatively small spike, maybe that's why clean keto is a good way of eating.mostly animal products with low net carbs. Great watch thishttps://youtu.be/WxrCsgcA2E8?si=tlJNFjbpFeE5ZXWu

Leo Sayer 2,734 Posted Monday at 03:28 Report Share Posted Monday at 03:28 Personally me, I did carnivore for a while and enjoyed it. I am not totally carb free, but do run low carb. Bread very occasionally. Sweet spuds now and then. And I do like my veggies but try to have low carb ones. If i have a curry I use cauliflower rice instead of rice and it's ok mixed in a ruby. I think a sensible diet and everything in moderation. Odd takeaway once a blue moon is fine , just not 3 a week ect. I genuinely feel a lot better in myself eating lower carb diet. As bread wraps pasta rice ect all make me feel bloated. My only vice is I do like a drink, I would like to curb that ideally .
