Mate I don't know how many times you need telling this, people are fatter because they are consuming way more calories than they did in the past, because they are eating more shite that carries a lot of calories. When you equate for calories you don't see excess weight gain with any diet, including high sugar diets.

Other studies have shown that the cholesterol is there to protect the damaged arteries.

Are you really this thick, that's what I've just said isn't it? I've just said people are fatter because they are eating more junk food, which is mostly made up of processed foods, that includes carbs, sugars, fried food, etc.

No, I never said it's just cholesterol, HDL is classed as good cholesterol, so, not all cholesterol is bad, but high LDL cholesterol is known to be bad for you, one study out of god knows how many stating the opposite is untrustworthy.

Yeah, so you're saying people born in the 50's, 60's, 70's, don't suffer from heart disease, of course they do.

I don't why we keep arguing over fad diets, if you have a very restrictive diet, be that carnivore, vegan, your health won't be optimal. Best thing you can do is eat a balanced diet, watch how much you eat and get plenty of exercise.

Yeah, because it's much easier to eat excess calories on shite, medium bar of chocolate, 500 calories done, same with big bag of crisps, doesn't take much and you're eating over 3000 calories and doing very little exercise.
