I wouldn't use it to deposit cash as there are daily, monthly and annual limits.

HELP.REVOLUT.COM

If you transfer the money out to the Revolut acc, 400 a day then it shouldn't flag up. Then you just have the app on your phone and use the virtual card as you would a normal one. Go to the dole office and they will have no record of you having any money in YOUR accounts.

It's an online banking app mate.

Go to Google play or App store and type in "Revolut"

You'll need your passport or drivers license to open an acc. Takes about 10 mins to open and set up ;)

The DWP , if they suspect fraud, can access anyone's account , revolut  or whatever

Not if it's in someone else's name ;)

Also, if transfers or deposits are less than 500 they don't flag up.

You can have a million in your account and still claim pip, and work as long as duties don't adversely affect pip claim reason. UC is totally different though

It was referring to MC's post mate ;)

Parents can gift their children and spouses money without any problems, although there are annual limits. No money in the account under your name. No investigation can legally go into other's accounts without a judge order, usually based on money laundering, criminal activity etc.

You can even create an offshore company (Isle of Man, Seychelles etc obviously not in your name) and purchase an item from that company for a price, the item doesn't even need to physically exist. It could be consulting, advice services etc ;)

Wankers have reduced it from what I can see. I thought it was 5k too but apparently not but there are ways around it ;)

What Gifts are Tax-Free?

You can gift money to your children and grandchildren without it being taxed in the following circumstances:

  • Annual exemption:  In each tax year, you can give a total of £3,000 to anyone you please without it being taxed. If you didn’t use your allowance in the previous tax year, you can pass on £6,000. However, the exemption can only be carried forward one tax year.
  • Small gift exemption: You can make additional tax-free gifts of up to £250 per person, such as for birthdays or at Christmas, provided the recipients haven’t previously benefited from your annual exemption.
  • Weddings or civil ceremonies: Each parent can give their child up to £5,000 to commemorate their marriage without it being taxed. Each grandparent can give up to £2,500.
  • Regular payments from your taxed income: You can also give a child or grandchild money by regularly contributing to their living costs or expenses out of your taxed income. But for the child or grandchild not to pay tax on the gifts, the pattern of giving must be consistent - such as monthly gifts to pay a child’s rent or a grandparent paying school fees - not sporadic. Additionally, the money needs to be from your surplus income. You must be able to prove to HMRC that gifting the money doesn’t affect your standard of living. This is to ensure people don't hand money over to their children to avoid it being taxed

Personally, I'd draw the amount of cash I want to and get the trusted person to bank 400 notes at a time into their account sporadically and then transfer it directly to a Revolut (or similar type) account.
