Joint record scorer for Scotland. Loved to wind up the English. Very modest and humorous man. I saw him play a few times. He could ghost past players, score goals from nothing and was brilliant with his head. It's said he put United down into the second division with his famous back heel. But United were losing anyway so it wasnt a decisive goal. He did not celebrate the goal and asked to be subbed immediately.
