your never to old to learn mate the best indication of spring is      people start putting pics of there dogs up lol

Disappointed not to see the large charm of linnets i saw last winter on the set aside though it's probably down to what's been left to go to set aside that looks like barley with sprouts of greenery that looks like rapeseed last year it was a crop that had small seed heads though i don't know what it was.

Day 1 of operation, tame Jenny, haha got a few brandling a chopped them up, chucked them to the wee yin about half 10 this morning, it flew away about 20 foot, sat on the bottom step of tractor an watched me. I went into sort some drinkers in some pig pens after a few minutes but peeked out a saw her taking some food, see if she any keener tomorrow morn, hopefully get her tk atleast not fly away an stay where she is

Maybe Millet,it don't grown quite like the sprigs you see for buggies in pet shops in this country but does produce a small seedy head the finches love...

Small little maggots, it's the wriggling that will pull it in t feed off them..If they crawl off to quick then make them cold and they slow right down..Get some pics Don as well please mate as you go...

I had a look in the dead bin this morn actually but it’s empty as expecting a new crop a pigs next week, once couple end up in there an temps pick up I’ll have an endless a supply a maggots, that is my plan, use them to get her in 👍
