Popular Post tatsblisters 9,956 Posted Wednesday at 09:02 Popular Post Report Share Posted Wednesday at 09:02 In the last two week's two pensioners have been attacked in the ex mining villages of Maltby and Thurcroft nr Rotherham . The first incident all caught on camera was when an old chap was using the laundrette when a youth tried robbing him and grabbing a bag out of his hand . The second more serious incident at a park in Thurcroft was when a 72 year old chap asked a 34 year old man to pick some rubbish up he had chucked down the 34 year old then sett about him kicking him in the ribs and would have killed him if it wasn't for the brave intervention of a 14 year old lad who saw the incident. Both individuals have been arrested and charged. Both communities have been in uproar and the condemnation and threats of repercussions to these two individuals one thing i can guarantee they will not be returning to these areas. Nice to see some white working class areas still stick together when some thing like this happens. 20

TOMO 26,304 Posted Wednesday at 12:16 Report Share Posted Wednesday at 12:16 (edited) Things like this remind you how strong the community was in pit villages... I remember story of the black panther Donald Nielson...and how the miner's helped the two cops who were struggling with him...he'd already tried shooting the cops with a sawn off...they helped as they were coming off shift at Rainworth pit...down by the chip shop...beat the f**k out of him they did cos he'd kidnapped that young lass and she'd been found dead.. I'm sure on his mug shots he's battered and bruised Edited Wednesday at 12:18 by TOMO

No doubt there will be some clause if they are antiques and decommissioned.
