I know one has been remanded who recently moved to Thurcroft and people are claiming the name given by the police is not his real name to probably protect those who made the decision to house a wrongun in their community.

Things like this remind you how strong the community was in pit villages...

I remember  story of the black panther Donald Nielson...and how the miner's helped the two cops who were struggling with him...he'd already tried shooting the cops with a sawn off...they helped as they were coming off shift at Rainworth pit...down by the chip shop...beat the f**k out of him they did cos he'd kidnapped that young lass and she'd been found dead..

I'm sure on his mug shots he's battered and bruised

I Think they are illegal mate as well as sword sticks. No doubt there will be some clause if they are antiques and decommissioned.
